What is Tinned Sheet?

By coating both sides of the cold rolled sheet material with tin, the product known as tin sheet is produced. The production can be in different thicknesses and sizes. At this point, as in other iron and steel products, production is carried out by taking into account customer requests.

In general, it can be stated that the thickness of tin sheets is between 0.12 mm and 0.50 mm. However, it should not be forgotten that it is possible to produce in different thicknesses upon request. The width range in production is between 20 mm and 1200 mm. The range regarding the length is between 650 mm and 1000 mm, and it can be said that these figures meet the expectations in general terms.

In tin sheet production, it is coated equally on both sides. Thus, both sides of the product show the same characteristics.

The products obtained at the end of production can be transported in different forms. Products; It can be brought into tape, roll and package sheet form.

Tin-plated sheet can have different surface structure. At this point, it is important how the coating is made and which materials are used in the coating. In general, it can be said that the surfaces are matte, semi-matt, glossy, less glossy and semi-glossy. The semi-matte color is very close to the silver color.
